Our city was created by civic leaders with fresh ideas and a vision for the future. Tampa Bay Farm 2 School continues this tradition and is a great example of community volunteerism that continues to make Temple Terrace an amazing city.”
Gardening / Cooking / Composting Club
The Boys and Girls Club of Temple Terrace hosts all aspects of the food cycle: Growing, cooking, AND composting! We have a native pollinator garden that also includes herbs and other edible plants. The Kids’ Kitchen is also active after school, making quick, healthy snacks with our students to enjoy. In Spring 2020, we started a vermicompost at the club that houses worms that create compost.
