All Turner-Bartels K-8 families and friends from the community are invited to the grand opening of the new TBK8 gardens located on the Upper Campus on Saturday, November 3, 10am-12noon. Our garden partner, Temple Terrace Farm2School, will be on hand to answer questions about future plans for the outdoor garden classroom and to provide tastings of plant-based dishes made from garden-fresh ingredients. Student volunteers from the USF College of Public Health are organizing activities around the theme of nutrition and healthy eating habits.
